BERLIN, GERMANY — Empresarios Agrupados (EAG) presented its EcosimPro simulation environment at ILA Berlin 2026, held from June 10 to June 14, reinforcing its position in the field of system-level simulation for aerospace applications. At the Space Pavilion, the EcosimPro team showcased its capabilities for multiphysics and multi-domain modelling, enabling the simulation of complex systems ranging from space and aeronautical propulsion architectures to aircraft subsystems and integrated platform-level solutions. Particular focus was placed on high-fidelity transient analysis, system integration, and the development of digital twins across the lifecycle. EAG also presented its specialized toolkits — including TURBO, ASYST, and ESPSS — widely used for propulsion and fluid-thermal system simulation. The event gathered more than 110,000 attendees and 765 exhibitors from 37 countries, providing a strong platform to engage with key players across the aerospace sector. MADRID, SPAIN — The EcosimPro team, part of Empresarios Agrupados-GHESA (EAG), participated in the 10th edition of the Space Propulsion Conference (SPC2026), held in Bari (Italy) from May 18 to 21, 2026, a key international forum for space propulsion technologies bringing together industry, academia, and space agencies. EcosimPro/ESPSS Supports ESA’s European Service Module for NASA’s Artemis Missions

Orion is designed to carry astronauts safely beyond low Earth orbit, supporting missions to the Moon and future deep-space exploration. The European Service Module provides essential spacecraft functions, including propulsion, power, thermal control and life-support resources. Given the demanding requirements for crew safety, reliability and mission performance, advanced system-level modelling and simulation have been essential from the early design phase through qualification and acceptance testing. EcosimPro, together with ESPSS — the European Space Propulsion System Simulation toolkit developed for ESA — has enabled high-fidelity transient simulations of the complete propulsion subsystem. These models allow engineers to predict system behaviour across a wide range of mission scenarios, from nominal operations to critical off-nominal conditions. A key challenge in spacecraft propulsion is the accurate prediction of highly dynamic transient phenomena, including pressure surges, valve interactions, priming sequences and fluid instabilities. EAG at the EASN 4th Tritium School Conference in Madrid
MADRID, SPAIN – EAG recently had the opportunity to participate in the 4th Tritium School, held in Ciemat (Madrid) from March 2nd to 6th (2026), a leading event focused on the development and application of tritium-related technologies in the context of nuclear fusion. During the school, EAG team gained valuable insights into the latest scientific and technological advances, while also engaging with international experts from both academia and industry. The sessions covered topics ranging from the fundamental behavior of tritium to its management in fusion facilities, including key challenges in safety, modeling, and simulation. In this context, our collaborator Carlos Moreno showcased developments carried out with EcosimPro in the field of tritium transport. The talk also presented recent work focused on Digital Twin approaches, where model connectivity has been successfully demonstrated. These efforts pave the way for continued development along this line, as well as for the exploration of surrogate models to enhance computational efficiency and enable new applications. EAG showcases EcosimPro at record-breaking Space Expo Bremen 2025
Space Expo Bremen 2025 took place on 18–20 November 2025, bringing together more than 950 exhibitors and around 10,000 visitors from across the global space sector. EAG was there with its own stand, presenting the latest EcosimPro simulation solutions for space applications. Recognised as Europe’s leading space industry trade show – the counterpart to Space Expo USA held annually in California – the event combines a large exhibition area with a rich programme of technical presentations and panel discussions on the present and future of the space industry. This year’s edition broke all previous records for both exhibitors and attendance, prompting the organisers to open two additional halls to accommodate the growing number of companies. Space Expo Bremen has firmly established itself as the must-attend meeting point to build partnerships, showcase capabilities and stay up to date with the state of the art in satellites, launchers, control systems, specialist software, components, materials, telecommunications and more. At the EAG stand, visitors could see live demos of the latest versions of EcosimPro/ESPSS (European Space Propulsion System Simulation), developed for ESA and currently used by most major European space propulsion companies. EAG at the EASN 15th International Conference
EAG participated in the 15th EASN International Conference, held from 14–17 October 2025 at Universidad Politécnica of Madrid. This leading European event brought together key figures in aeronautics and space research under the theme “Innovation in Aviation & Space towards sustainability today and tomorrow.” Our simulation engineers María Aranda and Víctor Villagarcía represented EAG by presenting two posters that highlighted the advanced simulation capabilities of PROOSIS and EcosimPro in modelling innovative propulsion architectures. 🔹 María showcased the NASA N3X hybrid distributed electric propulsion aircraft modelled with PROOSIS. 🔹 Víctor presented his work on electrolysers and fuel cells using EcosimPro and ESPSS, applied to space propulsion systems. This conference was an outstanding opportunity to exchange knowledge, explore sustainable innovations, and reinforce the position of PROOSIS and EcosimPro as benchmark tools for propulsion system modelling and simulation in the aerospace sector.
EcosimPro in the Smart Energy Congress 2025 at IFEMA
Madrid, 12th Oct 2025 Our Simulation Department of EAG participated on the Smart Energy Congress organized by Enertic at Ifema-Madrid on days 8th and 9th October (2025). More than 2000 people attended the two-day event, whose theme this year was the use of Artificial Intelligence to design and produce more efficient, sustainable, and competitive energy systems. Multiple energy and ICT companies participated in discussions and technical talks. The goal was to share vision, strategies, experiences, best practices, and success stories, identify opportunities for collaboration, etc. in the area of energy industry. EAG had a stand dedicated to simulation in the energy world using AI, and multiple people interested in learning about EcosimPro and its energy toolkits visited it. EAG participants included Miguel Alcázar, Director of the Simulation Group, sales managers Keshan Dass, Manuel Vázquez, and Soledad López Postiglione, and energy simulation engineers Casto Martos and Jorge Otero. Pedro Cobas, Technical Manager of the Simulation Group, gave a talk on the titled: ‘Application of AI + Multiphysics Techniques for the Development of Digital Twins for Power Plants,’ in which various mixed simulation architectures were presented and applied to a power plant (nuclear + photovoltaic + H2), showing the advantages and disadvantages of each method.
