Madrid, 12th Oct 2025
Our Simulation Department of EAG participated on the Smart Energy Congress organized by Enertic at Ifema-Madrid on days 8th and 9th October (2025). More than 2000 people attended the two-day event, whose theme this year was the use of Artificial Intelligence to design and produce more efficient, sustainable, and competitive energy systems. Multiple energy and ICT companies participated in discussions and technical talks. The goal was to share vision, strategies, experiences, best practices, and success stories, identify opportunities for collaboration, etc. in the area of energy industry.
EAG had a stand dedicated to simulation in the energy world using AI, and multiple people interested in learning about EcosimPro and its energy toolkits visited it. EAG participants included Miguel Alcázar, Director of the Simulation Group, sales managers Keshan Dass, Manuel Vázquez, and Soledad López Postiglione, and energy simulation engineers Casto Martos and Jorge Otero.
Pedro Cobas, Technical Manager of the Simulation Group, gave a talk on the titled: ‘Application of AI + Multiphysics Techniques for the Development of Digital Twins for Power Plants,’ in which various mixed simulation architectures were presented and applied to a power plant (nuclear + photovoltaic + H2), showing the advantages and disadvantages of each method.
