MADRID, SPAIN — Empresarios Agrupados-GHESA (EAG), the developers of EcosimPro, EcosimPro/PROOSIS products announces the launch of its new EcosimPro/PROOSIS 2026 Version 7.2 for Multiphysics Simulation and all commercial simulation toolkits upgrade.
EcosimPro is a world-class modeling and simulation tool used by leading aerospace and energy firms. It specializes in multidisciplinary continuous-discrete systems, offering powerful solvers and an extensive range of professional libraries for propulsion, energy, life support, cryogenics, etc.
Some of the new features are:
- Direct support to Python from EL language for mixing Multiphysics and Python code
- Introduced the EcosimProGPT Assistant, powered by OpenAI’s ChatGPT program, now accessible directly via the Help menu.
- Solvers upgrade for faster simulations
- New kernel functions for smoothing non-linearities
- FMI-3 Support: A more complete implementation of the latest FMI-3 standard, including support for clocks, structural parameters, event mode for advanced co-simulation, binary types, manipulation of adjoint and directional derivatives, etc.
- Enhanced OPC-UA Performance: Optimized for high-performance co-simulation environments.
- Optimized HDF-5 storage efficiency by eliminating redundant variable data in binary files
- New integrated HDF-5 Viewer tool: A streamlined tool for the clear and efficient visualization of simulation results
- Improved HDF-5 Diff tool for analysing differences between two binary files
- Implemented HDF-5 SWMR (Single Writer Multiple Reader) mode, enabling real-time visualization of results while the simulation is actively running
- Deck Python. Added support for latest python versions.
- Etc.
The new version includes 27 renewed simulation toolkits, covering key industrial domains, including aerospace propulsion, cryogenics, fluid systems, electrical systems, thermal systems, control, mechanical systems, and other multidisciplinary applications. The toolkits come in two parts:
Installation simulation toolkits
- The new installation comes with 12 open-source modelling and simulation workspaces, designed to cover a wide range of modeling needs, most of them are educational libraries of examples:
- WS_STANDARD: Includes professional and open-source libraries for Control, Electric, Mechanical, Hydraulic, and Thermal domains, featuring multiple application examples.
- WS_EPYTHON: Demonstrates the connectivity between Python code and EL (EcosimPro Language).
- WS_COMM_FMI: Dedicated to the import and management of Functional Mock-up Units (FMUs).
- WS_OPTIMISATION: Provides access to advanced optimization solvers.
- WS_RENDER & WS_SCENE_3D: Contain examples for creating high-quality 2D and 3D visualizations within Monitor graphical application.
- Educational Workspaces: WS_DEMO, WS_STEP_BY_STEP, WS_FVAZQUEZ_BOOK, and WS_LANGUAGE_EXAMPLES offer miscellaneous examples on dynamic system modeling, linear algebra and advanced coding features (classes, partition classes, containers, templates, function pointers, etc.).
Commercial simulation toolkits
- All the commercial simulation toolkits have been upgraded with new multiple features
